Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1 lb. ground turkey can sub. Beyond meat for vegan/vegetarian
1 onion finely chopped
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. sea salt
1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce
about 8 corn tortillas
1 can rinsed organic black beans
1 sliced avocado
1/2-1 cup spicy salsa
2 Tbsp. avocado oil or any high heat oil

    It’s Taco Tuesday everyday!  Enjoy these healthy, gluten free, and protein packed tacos with ground turkey or if plant based, Beyond Meat has a wonderful ground beef alternative.

    Brown and your turkey

    Bring a large skillet with avocado oil over medium heat. Add your onions and allow to glaze. Add your turkey and chop with a spatula or wooden spoon and cook until browned and in small pieces. Add your tomato sauce, starting with about 1/2 a can and adding more if your mixture starts to dry out when cooking.

    Add seasoning

    Add all seasonings and bring to low heat and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally. In the meantime, rinse and warm your beans and season with a little cumin and salt. Warm your tortillas in a small skillet for about 30 seconds on each side. This allows them to stay intact while cooking. Top your tortillas with your taco meat, beans, salsa, and avocado. Enjoy!
