Directions

Cook your ingredients in a Pressure CookerIn an instant pot, add the soaked urad dal, tomatoes, onions, and 1 cup of water. Turn the seal on. Set it on pressure cook for 8 mins. |

Add seasoningOnce dal is cooked, add salt, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and half of your red chili powder and mix. |

Cook whole spicesTime to prepare the tempering. In a small heated wok, add the ghee. After melted, add the mustard, cumin seeds, & dry red chilies. If you have curry leaves, add them at this point. |
