Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
Dry Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup almond flour
1 Tbsp. chia seeds optional
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. ground cardamom can substitute with cinnamon powder
Wet Ingredients:
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/3 - 1/2 cup raw organic honey 1/3 cup makes for a very lightly sweet bread- add upto half cup for adequate sweetness
2 Tbsp. Greek yogurt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg optional, for vegan option - use flax egg instead
1/4 cup almond milk or water do not use regular milk when using greek yogurt- if u want to use regular milk, then dont use greek yogurt
3 medium or 2 large ripe bananas

      Banana Almond Pecan Bread – A perfect breakfast full of protein, fiber, probiotics and omega 3’s.

      Preheat oven and prepare dry ingredients

      Preheat oven to 325 F. Line a 9 in Loaf pan with parchment paper. Spray with Pam or cooking spray of choice. In a large bowl, Mix all the dry ingredients together well. Remove lumps of almond flour if any.

      Mix wet ingredients and bake!

      In a food processor, mix all the wet ingredients to a puree. Then slowly add the wet mix into the dry mix until well combined. Transfer contents to the lined loaf pan and bake for 1 hour and 5 min.

      Enjoy by itself with a fresh cup of coffee or spread almond butter over it and relish the goodness!
